Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related discipline, validated by a Kentucky State license.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Valid Kentucky State Radiation Operators License.

Work Schedule and Compensation:
This is a full-time opportunity, offering three scheduling options: (Monday-Thursday 9pm-6:30am), (Friday-Sunday 7pm-7am), or (Friday-Sunday 9am-9pm).
The salary range is competitive, between $60,000 to $81,000, plus an additional $2.25 per hour shift differential. A comprehensive benefits package, including potential sign-on and relocation assistance, is available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient medical histories and physician directives.
Guide patients through procedures, equipment, and examinations to ensure understanding and cooperation.

  • Prepare and administer contrast agents and/or medications as prescribed, adhering to the scope of practice.
Continuously monitor patient status and respond to any changes effectively.

  • Prepare necessary equipment and supplies.
Select suitable exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implement safety protocols and conduct quality control checks on equipment. Address or report any equipment issues as necessary.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and perform quality assurance on imaging equipment.
Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions as needed.

  • Position patients and execute imaging procedures.
Evaluate results and identify any image quality concerns. Take appropriate measures to rectify image quality issues, including repositioning patients or repeating procedures. Document, transmit, and report imaging results.
