Team Mission
Our team is focused on advancing generative AI and enhancing content comprehension within TikTok's business framework. We leverage computer vision and natural language processing to drive innovation in content generation and understanding. Our projects include developing foundational models for multi-modal pretraining, large language models, image and video generation, among others.
As a part of the generative AI team, we aim to achieve significant business metrics while also delivering cutting-edge research outcomes.
We are seeking talented research scientist graduates who are eager to deepen their business acumen, create scalable and efficient models, and collaborate across disciplines with global teams in pursuit of excellence.
- Conduct research and development in advanced computer vision, natural language processing, multi-modal systems, large language models, and generative modeling.
- Stay updated with state-of-the-art advancements in relevant fields and implement innovative ideas into production.
- Oversee the entire model life cycle, from training and deployment to maintenance and application in business contexts.
Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Experience in one or more areas of computer vision, natural language processing, and machine learning.
- Familiarity with deep neural network architectures such as transformers, CNNs, RNNs, and LSTMs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative spirit for cross-functional teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related fields.
- Publications in prestigious venues such as SIGGRAPH, CVPR, ICCV, ICML, NeurIPS, or ICLR.
