About the Role

As a Medical-Surgical Nurse at St. Francis Hospital, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-focused care to a diverse population. Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, monitoring vital signs, documenting observations, and reporting changes in patient condition. You'll collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes, educate patients and their families about their care and discharge planning, maintain a safe and clean patient environment, and utilize electronic health records (EHR) effectively.

Requirements

We're seeking a qualified RN with a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices. A minimum of one year of related work experience in an acute care setting is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is also preferred. You'll need to hold a current license as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing and possess current Healthcare BLS Certification. Specialty certification, as appropriate to the assigned work unit, is strongly preferred.
