**Job Summary**

As a Pilot Rotor Wing Specialist at Air Methods, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of medical crew and patients to receiving hospitals within an assigned operational area. This role requires a high level of expertise in aviation operations, Federal Aviation Regulations, and aeronautical safety protocols.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operate Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight checks to ensure the aircraft is airworthy, and complete post-flight documentation as required.
  • Collaborate with medical flight teams to ensure a smooth and efficient transportation experience.
  • Participate in regular meetings, activities, and projects to enhance aviation operations and safety.

**Requirements:**

  • Commercial & Instrument Rating for category and class of aircraft.
  • ATP rating in category meets this requirement.
  • First OR Second Class FAA Medical certificate required.
  • 2-5 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
