About the Role:
Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a skilled Scaffold Carpenter to join our team. As a Scaffold Carpenter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing scaffolding systems for various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble scaffold components, including handrails, mid rails, braces, and planks, to meet job specifications.
- Brace forms in place with timbers, tie rods, and anchor bolts for use in building concrete piers, footings, and walls.
- Secure scaffolding to permanent structures by tying.
- Erect scaffolding for buildings and other structures and install ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangways.
- Set and brace anchor bolts.
- Inspect base surfaces for obstructions and ensure safe working conditions.
Requirements:
- Experience in scaffold construction and installation.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
