We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operator to join our team at our Cookeville, TN or Algood, TN manufacturing facility. As an Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for assembling parts in an assigned area until the final product is complete.
Key Responsibilities- Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at each designated station within an Assembly cell.
- Quality-check each piece produced against set aesthetic standards.
- Ensure designated stations are stocked with necessary parts for assigned jobs.
- Learn and perform job duties at multiple stations within assigned cells.
- Rotate between assigned cells or manufacturing facilities as needed to meet production demands.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to expected housekeeping standards.
- Work independently and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Moderate proficiency in English.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capacity to read SOPs in English.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- High level of manual dexterity.
This position is located at our Cookeville, TN or Algood, TN manufacturing facility. The facility is climate-controlled, and employees will work with and near moving mechanical parts.
Physical RequirementsCandidates must be able to identify and distinguish colors, stand for long periods, lift/carry up to 35 lbs., reach in any direction, and kneel/stoop repeatedly. Frequent use of drill drivers is required in the Assembly process. A drug screen and physical may be required prior to employment.
