About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California.

As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current California Registered Nurse License.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Current NIH Stroke Scale Certificate.
  • One year of nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current certification in a specialty area, such as critical care or pediatrics.
