As a Compressor Rebuild Specialist at GEA Process Engineering, you will be responsible for performing tasks involved in compressor rebuild/repair, including tear down, inspection, assembly, miscellaneous machining, metal spraying, and parts cleaning. Your expertise will be essential in identifying basic machine issues and developing solutions with supervisory support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rebuild and repair compressors, including tear down, inspection, assembly, and miscellaneous machining.
  • Identify and troubleshoot basic machine issues.
  • Develop solutions to basic machine issues with supervisory support.
  • Perform simple tests of compressors.
  • Ensure all work is done according to customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • High school or technical school diploma or equivalent.
  • Elementary specialization.
  • Semi-skilled understanding of operating routines at the novice journeyman level.
  • Five years of related experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
