Key Responsibilities- Assist the pharmacist in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions, processing patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software, to ensure accurate and efficient processing of prescriptions and customer transactions.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with accuracy and efficiency.
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
