Certified Surgical Technologist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at KA Recruiting Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgeon and RNs in operative procedures.
• Prepare the surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure good working order of equipment and instruments.
• Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
• Pass instruments to the physician during surgery.
• Continually account for the number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Receive and process specimens for delivery to the laboratory.
• Perform pre-operative procedures, such as selecting and placing appropriate surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Scrub and provide instruments, sutures, and other sterile supplies during surgical procedures while anticipating the needs of the surgeon.
