Key Responsibilities:
As a Civil Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of bridge and railway construction projects. Your duties will include:
1. Overseeing and directing all construction activities related to bridge and railway projects, managing a crew of 5-10 members.
2. Ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to approved plans and specifications.
3. Coordinating and managing onsite personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers effectively.
4. Upholding safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe job site.
5. Operating large power tools as necessary.
6. Supervising pile driving operations and ensuring quality control measures are met.
7. Communicating effectively with project stakeholders, including engineers and project managers.
8. Addressing onsite issues or disputes promptly and professionally.
9. Preparing and submitting project reports and updates to senior management.
10. Leading daily safety meetings and briefings.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction, particularly in bridge and railway projects.
2. Proven experience in pile driving operations.
3. Ability to obtain necessary safety clearances.
4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering plans and specifications.
5. Experience operating large power tools.
