Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Survey Crew Chief to join our team at Bohler Engineering. As a Survey Crew Chief, you will be responsible for leading a team of surveyors in the collection and management of critical data for dynamic projects and client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of surveyors in the field, ensuring efficient completion of all survey work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Complete all phases of field work, including construction staking, ALTA/boundary/topographic/as-built surveys using Robotic Trimble total stations and GPS with Trimble Data Collectors.
  • Manage and download all field notes, sketches, plans, and raw field data.
  • Supervise the crew or work independently as necessary, ensuring projects are completed within established time limits and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience surveying in the field utilizing Robotic Total Station with data collectors.
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods, withstanding seasonal temperatures and various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
