We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Intensive Care Unit team at Ascension Seton. As a RN Neuro Intensive Care Unit Nurse, you will provide direct patient care and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit, including implementing and monitoring patient care plans, monitoring and recording patient condition, and communicating with the healthcare team.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care, including assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning needs.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, including noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders.
- BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
- Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
- BSN degree preferred.
- 1 year ICU experience preferred.
