As a Radiology Technologist at Ashland District Hospital, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing radiology services, including x-rays and CT scans, while coordinating and reporting ultrasounds and mammograms.
  • Working cooperatively with other departments and medical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in radiology, with a focus on X-ray and CT scanning within a healthcare setting.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with patients, personnel, and support agencies.
  • The ability to function independently and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies, particularly EHR systems.

You must also have a High School Diploma or equivalent and an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology; a Bachelor's Degree in Diagnostic Imaging is preferred. Additionally, being ARRT registered or eligible is mandatory.
