Job Summary

The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of Loma Linda University Medical Center. This includes managing food production, enhancing presentation, and ensuring quality control standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to train and develop staff.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the culinary team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menus to enhance patient satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements and quality control standards
  • Train and develop staff on cooking techniques and culinary best practices
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless food service operations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Minimum three years of experience as a chef or cook in quantity food preparation
  • Minimum one year of supervisory experience
  • Current ServSafe training certificate
