Position Summary: The Grounds and Greenhouse Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring the aesthetic and functional upkeep of outdoor spaces. This position involves a range of responsibilities including the maintenance of recreational facilities, landscape care, and agricultural tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and adjust the water levels, temperature, and chemical balance of pools and hot tubs.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of pool and hot tub areas.
• Document chemical usage daily to maintain guest safety.
• Cultivate vegetables such as lettuce in designated farm areas for culinary use.
• Restock amenities and manage waste disposal as necessary.
• Maintain the grounds surrounding recreational facilities.
• Perform mowing and trimming of lawns across the property.
• Operate irrigation systems to ensure lush green landscapes throughout the season.
• Conduct repairs on sprinkler systems and other irrigation components as required.
• Prune and shape shrubs, bushes, and trees to enhance the landscape.
• Assist in transporting plants from local nurseries to the property.
• Water and care for all flower arrangements, ensuring they remain vibrant.
• Apply fertilizers and manage weeds in floral displays regularly.
• Organize and maintain the gardening shed, ensuring tools and supplies are readily available.

Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and maneuver weights up to 45 lbs.
• Capable of walking extensive distances across the property.
• Proficient in operating machinery including tow trucks, forklifts, and lawn care equipment.
