As a Warehouse Operations Lead at Canteen, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with warehouse associates to prepare and move merchandise according to established safety, performance, and accuracy standards.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that all functions, duties, and procedures are performed as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Receive, unload, move, and load merchandise, verifying correct counts and noting any discrepancies or damages.
- Issue and deliver items to the proper destination, obtaining signatures to document delivery/receipt.
- Maintain proper storage of inventory merchandise to avoid spills or spoilage, rotating stock according to schedule.
- Ensure a safe and proper work environment, reporting any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
- Manage and maintain stock control, planning future needs and adjusting par levels, processing stock order review orders, controlling dead stock, and scheduling deliveries on dock.
