Job Opportunity

WellStone Inc is seeking a skilled School Based Therapist to join our team. As a School Based Therapist, you will work with the Cullman County School System to provide mental health care services and resources to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mental health counseling services to students in an In-School Counseling Program
  • Perform crisis intervention and resolution as needed
  • Conduct assessments, intakes, transfers, and discharges for clients
  • Manage client caseload and follow up with clients and guardians
  • Assist school personnel and parents with community referral sources
  • Monitor client progress toward goals
  • Obtain release forms from parents and adhere to confidentiality standards
  • Document information in electronic client charts, treatment plans, progress notes, and referrals in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain billable service and productivity standards
  • Attend required training and staff meetings
