Deliver high-quality patient care, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Document patient care given and monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Requirements:- Education: ADN - required, BSN - preferred
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Handle with Care
- License: RN in the state of KY
