Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Student to join our team at Research Medical Center as a Nurse Extern. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic healthcare environment while pursuing your nursing education.

As a Nurse Extern, you will work closely with our experienced nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care and develop your clinical skills. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced hospital environment.

We offer a competitive stipend of $10,000 to support you through your nursing program, as well as a relocation bonus of $5,000 for those who relocate more than 50 miles from their assigned facility. Upon graduation, you will be guaranteed employment as a Registered Nurse with HCA Healthcare.

Our Nurse Externship program is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed as a nurse. You will have the opportunity to work with a Registered Nurse to develop your clinical skills and gain hands-on experience in a variety of settings.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Nurse Extern delivers high-quality patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Nurse Extern assists the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the Nurse Extern's skills/training and the needs of the Department.

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Nursing Student who is currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program. You must have completed Nursing Fundamentals and have a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic healthcare environment.

As a Nurse Extern, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will also have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and gain hands-on experience working with a Registered Nurse.
