Job Summary

Ceco Environmental is seeking an experienced Assembler/Team Lead to join our team in Tustin, CA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading a team of production employees, ensuring safety, and completing work against deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of production employees, ensuring safety and completing work against deadlines.
  • Hands-on and assist assembly and wiring, including some assembly and testing.
  • Perform testing of equipment both electrical and with water.
  • Perform Quality inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests.
  • Inform production employees of proper procedures.
  • Follow work instructions and engineering drawings.
  • Record hours for labor reporting.
  • Mechanical, Electrical, and assembly piping skills required.
  • Must wear all applicable safety equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures in accordance with guidelines established by the Company/OSHA.
  • Understand and comply with all company policies and procedures as well as additional legal regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Punctual.
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
  • Team player, able to get along with a diverse group of people working towards a common goal.
  • Previous supervising role in a piping and assembly environment.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6AM to 2:30PM plus overtime as required.
  • Must be able to work overtime, including Saturdays, as required.
  • Location: Tustin, CA.
  • Salary Range: $26.00 to $32.00 Hourly.
Competencies
  • Design - Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Materials - Knowledge of material science, including their properties and interaction with other products in the system.
Skills
  • Basic Math includes fractions.
  • Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Written Comprehension - The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
Abilities
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Handle and manipulate objects on a repetitive basis.
  • Ability to see well and distinguish between back up alarms, voices, and other normal sounds consistent with manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required.
