Cocktail Service Aide

Job Purpose:
As a Beverage Service Assistant, your role is to support bartenders and cocktail servers in delivering exceptional beverage service. You will ensure that all necessary supplies are readily available at your designated workstation.

You will report directly to the Beverage Shift Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Bartender to maintain essential supplies such as straws, stir sticks, napkins, and matches at your workstation.
2. Rotate stock, wash and replenish glassware, and ensure an adequate supply of fruit garnishes.
3.

Manage ice bins, dispose of garbage, replace trash liners, and clean surfaces as time permits. Additionally, check kegs, replace soiled bar mats, sweep floors, and maintain cleanliness of glass washers and other equipment.

4. Prepare garnishes by cutting, slicing, and peeling fruits and other perishables.
5. Scoop and transport ice to service areas, ensuring ice containers are filled.
6. Collect and store empty liquor bottles for future returns and requisitions.
7. Handle beer taps, perform routine maintenance on heavy kegs, and ensure proper setup of your station before, during, and after shifts.
8. Adhere to all relevant liquor laws and regulations.
9. Complete other assigned tasks as necessary.

Job Requirements:
Applicants must be at least 21 years old (18 years for establishments serving only 3.2 beer). ABLE Certification is required. Candidates should possess the ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions, along with basic math skills. Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred.
