As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance and inspections of fire suppression and alarm systems to ensure compliance with fire life and safety codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of fire suppression and alarm systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
  • Apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems and interpret manufacturers' manuals and similar documents.
  • Perform routine tasks following detailed instructions and receive technical guidance as needed from supervisors or higher-level technicians.
  • Work is spot-checked for accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • NICET 3: Wet suppression certification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in water-based fire protection systems layout, including hydraulic calculations and management of water-based system layout projects.
  • Trained on fire alarm systems, including Simplex and Notifier.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface and coordinate with other technicians.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including walking, standing, lifting up to 40lbs, pulling, climbing up and down ladders, and agility/dexterity to perform duties assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working from building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and electrical maintenance and repair manuals.
