Nurse Leader

We are seeking a skilled Charge Nurse to join our team at Texas Health Fort Worth. This is a fast-paced, high-volume Med Surg Oncology department that requires top-notch nursing skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff on the unit
- Develop and implement nursing care plans to meet the needs of patients
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
- Manage unit operations, including staffing and resource allocation
- Participate in shared governance and unit-based councils to improve patient care and nursing practice
- Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or Nursing Diploma required
- BSN preferred
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
- Current BLS (required) –prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
- ACLS within 90 days required
- CPI training within 90 days of hire (required)
- One-year experience as a clinical nurse required
- 2+ years of inpatient oncology RN experience and charge/preceptor skills (preferred)
- CMSRN (preferred)
- ONS - Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certificate upon hire required
- OCN - Oncology Certified Nurse within 2 years of hire preferred
