Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and animal-loving individual to join our team as a Sales Associate. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting guests with their pet-related needs, and promoting a positive and inclusive store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a great experience for guests by engaging with them, utilizing your acquired skills and training, and recommending products and services that meet their needs.
  • Assist guests in selecting and purchasing merchandise, and process register transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate a high level of interest in the welfare, health, and proper handling of all animals, and promote a positive culture of teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration.
  • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned, and adhere to established operational guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of sales experience required.
  • High level of knowledge of pet nutrition and aptitude for sales techniques.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, with a keen and genuine interest in animals and their care.
  • Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with the public and other partners and leaders within the store.
