Job SummaryWe are seeking a full-time Millwright / Pipe Foreman to lead our team in the Winder, GA area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff engaged in laying out, fabricating, aligning, joining, installing, repairing, and welding materials.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and quality assurance to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, and project managers to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Assist workers in their performance of assigned duties and inspect the quality of all work.
- Analyze and resolve work-related problems, and maintain accurate records of production and time.
- Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment according to construction plans and blueprints.
- Assemble and install equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, gearboxes, and pumps.
- 3+ years of experience in a related field.
- NCCER or AWS certification or completion of a related program through an accredited technical school is preferred.
This role requires the ability to work indoors and outdoors, including times of inclement weather. You must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, twist, and bend for extended periods. You will also be required to use arms and hands to reach for, handle, or manipulate objects, and lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
