At NIKE, we are committed to accelerating our digital transformation and real-time data-based decision-making capabilities using AI/ML technology. We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to design and implement core components of our data science services and platform.

Job Description
This role involves working collaboratively with the data science and analytics teams to ship scalable, performant, and reliable solutions. The focus is on leveraging AI/ML technology to improve the user experience by using personalization, recommendation, smart search, digital demand sensing, and scheduling techniques.

Responsibilities
- Develop and/or implement services and paved-path solutions to enable data scientists and ML engineers at NIKE.
- Evaluate new AI/ML platform services and capabilities for possible long-term approaches.
- Work with the user community to anticipate services and platform needs required to support algorithm development, model training, model management, data engineering, and model serving.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or similar field or relevant professional experience, education, and training.
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals.
- 2+ years professional software development experience.
- Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, Python, Golang.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code / DevOps practices and technologies like Terraform.
- Experience with Cloud services (e.g., AWS Cloud EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Azure Cloud, etc.).
- Experience developing and using microservices.

Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $170,000 per year, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
