Head Resident Advisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resident Advisor to join our team as a Head Resident Advisor. This is a temporary, hourly position that will support the day-to-day supervision, guidance, and safety of all co- and extra-curricular activities of the attending campers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision for camp students, 24 hours a day, seven-days a week for the duration of the program.
  • Work closely with Resident Advisors, On-site Assistant Program Coordinators, Education Guidance counselors, and CFGE Staff to ensure that the infrastructure is in place to support the program.
  • Live in the dorms for the duration of the program.
  • Support the Assistant Director and the Director of Precollegiate Learner Programs at William & Mary.
Requirements
  • High School graduate
  • Demonstrated ability to work and multitask effectively in a complex and fast-paced setting
  • Organizational leadership experience
  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability to complete the William & Mary Golf Cart Training
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Camp Launch experience
  • Experience working with K-12 students
Working Conditions

This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position may be subject to overtime during high peak times, etc. as directed and approved by the supervisor.
