Job Title: Travel Echo Technologist

Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Travel Echo Technologist to join our team. As a Travel Echo Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and healthcare professionals, utilizing your expertise in cardiac ultrasound to provide high-quality diagnostic services.

Job Summary:
  • Conduct multi-specialty diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to departmental procedures.
  • Work under the direction of experienced staff sonographers and medical directors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and facility staff.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound examinations, including echocardiograms and vascular studies.
  • Develop and implement effective patient care plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies.
Requirements:
  • Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiologic/Ultrasound Technology program.
  • Requires national certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent.
  • Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty, RVT/RCS/RDCS or equivalent for Cardiac/Vascular, required within 18 months of hire.
  • BLS certification required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
