About the Role:
As a Diagnostic Imaging Technician with TotalMed Staffing, you will operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure patient comfort and safety during MRI scans, providing clear instructions and monitoring vital signs. Collaboration with the radiology team is crucial for optimal imaging results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures on patients.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI scans, providing clear instructions and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
- Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Document procedures accurately, maintain patient records, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- ARRT (MRI) certification
- BLS certification
- Two years of recent MRI Technician experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
