At RAYUS Radiology, we're seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you'll be responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. Your patient-centered approach will ensure that each patient receives exceptional care and support throughout the exam process.

This is a per diem position working Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Your primary duties will include:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Screen patients before exams to ensure their safety and identify any potential contraindications.
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and positioning them for optimal image quality.
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated body parts, providing patient support and comfort throughout the process.
  • Adjust MRI scan parameters as needed to ensure high-quality images.
  • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and adhere to safety regulations to protect patients, coworkers, and yourself.
  • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
  • Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
  • Clean and disinfect equipment after each use.
  • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.

MRI Department Support:

  • Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.
  • Assist with training new associates, providing resource and technical expertise as applicable.

Additional Responsibilities:

Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
