Job Title: Dishwasher

Keke's Breakfast Cafe is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at the Clermont location.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Dishwasher to wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain a clean and organized dish room and equipment, and ensure that all tableware and kitchenware are properly stored and sanitized.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, run, and unload the dish machine, ensuring it is clean and functioning properly.
  • Monitor the dish machine water temperature to ensure a sanitary wash cycle.
  • Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware, maintaining adequate levels of clean supplies.
  • Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized, and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
  • Bag and haul trash to the dumpster, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
  • Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
  • Clean food preparation, production areas, and the dish room as required.
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.
Requirements:
  • No previous restaurant experience is required, but a willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop, and work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift.
