Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Tech to join our team. As a Floor Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of hard surfaces and carpets in resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, and other public areas. This includes dusting and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of hard surfaces and carpets in resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, and other public areas.
  • Collect trash, recycling, and soiled linen from units and dispose of them properly.
  • Utilize protective gear in all functions and follow safety precautions when mixing and using cleaning solutions.
  • Report equipment and cleaning product needs or malfunctions to supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily without supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
