Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part-time Cashier to join our team at Great Lakes Ace Hardware. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and cash wrap area
  • Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and providing recommendations
  • Process returns and exchanges, and handle customer complaints in a fair and timely manner
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
