Job Summary:
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assure patient care is facilitated per facility policy and procedures during shifts.
- Notify administrative staff of any events or occurrences not in line with standard practice.
- Perform clinical, non-clinical, and clerical duties as needed.
- Adhere to the MCMH Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform specific duties and skills as defined in competency assessments.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed by the Florida State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current ACLS certification within 3 months of hire and PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
- TNCC training preferred.
- Certified Emergency Nurse certification optional.
