Position Overview:
A client located in Leominster is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic family medicine physician to become part of a collaborative outpatient practice. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience, demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based medical practices, and be adept at treating patients across all age groups. This position entails working closely with fellow team members and supervising mid-level providers and nursing staff.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts medical license as an MD or DO
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Board certification or eligibility in family medicine
- Possession of a Massachusetts DEA certificate prior to the start date
- Current CPR certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages
- Engage in the formulation of clinic protocols and procedures to uphold high standards of medical care
- Participate in utilization and peer review initiatives aimed at assessing the quality of medical staff and services provided at the clinics
- Oversee and provide guidance to physician assistants and nurse practitioners
- Offer consultation services to practitioners via telephone as needed
