Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Labor and Delivery RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. As a travel nurse with Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, gain new skills, and explore new locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of California.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery RN, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
