We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our faculty as a Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students and residents, conducting scholarly activities, and contributing to the department's clinical practice and research initiatives.
Responsibilities- Teach and mentor students and residents in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Conduct scholarly activities, including research and publication
- Participate in the department's clinical practice and contribute to the development of new clinical programs
- Collaborate with other faculty members to advance the department's research and educational mission
- DDS or DMD degree and eligibility for Board certification or Board certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Appropriate license for clinical practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Developed or developing area of clinical excellence and mentoring experience
- Favorable consideration will be given to those with additional training credentials such as an MD, Ph.D., fellowship qualification, or other advanced degrees
