Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise clinical education and research activities
  • Provide leadership and oversight to a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with research faculty on projects related to cardiovascular medicine and rehabilitation
  • Ensure program accreditation and compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • Board-certified cardiologist
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Virginia
  • Certification in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support
  • Experience in cardiovascular medicine and rehabilitation
  • Strong research and teaching background
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Established extramurally funded research initiatives
  • Experience in program development and accreditation
