Responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessing patient condition, developing and implementing patient care plans, and monitoring patient progress.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff, to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans, including medication administration, wound care, and other treatments as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
• Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• One or more of the following required: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
