Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Respiratory Therapist at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work with a compassionate and dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are committed to delivering excellent care.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform respiratory therapy functions, including breathing treatments, nebulizer treatments, blood gas analysis, and ventilator setup and monitoring.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory health and disease management.
- Graduate of a two or four-year accredited respiratory care program.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Certification required within 60 days of hire, ACLS and PALS certification preferred, Registered by National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC), Respiratory Care Practitioner License for South Dakota.
- Work Schedule: Days and Nights – 12hr shifts, Every 3rd weekend/holiday rotation, 72hrs/2wks.
