Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team at Birch Bay Retirement Village. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and lead a variety of recreational and social activities for residents
  • Assist with transportation, outings, events, and special projects
  • Work closely with other staff members to ensure resident satisfaction and engagement
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Previous experience in senior living or related field preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
