We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team at Birch Bay Retirement Village. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and lead a variety of recreational and social activities for residents
- Assist with transportation, outings, events, and special projects
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure resident satisfaction and engagement
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Previous experience in senior living or related field preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
