Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at The Budd Group. As a Janitorial Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other areas.
  • Replenish paper and soap products in bathrooms, clean mirrors, walls, showers, sinks, metal work, and toilets.
  • Empty wastebaskets, and empty and clean ashtrays.
  • Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and/or refinish floors.
  • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
  • Wash walls, ceilings, vents, and woodwork.
  • Wash windows, blinds, door panels, ledges, and sills.
  • Clean water fountains.
  • Dust furniture, light fixtures, and equipment.
  • Replace light bulbs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience in janitorial or facilities maintenance.
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs repetitively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
