Role Summary
As a key member of the Credit Union of the Rockies team, the Underwriter and Community Relationship Officer plays a vital role in evaluating the financial condition and creditworthiness of prospective borrowers for various loan types. This position requires a unique blend of analytical and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with members and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
1. Evaluate loan applications and make informed decisions based on sound judgment and discretion.
2. Establish and maintain a strong network of lending relationships with dealers and mortgage partners.
3. Develop new mortgage lending opportunities and build relationships to generate new member loan originations.
4. Identify opportunities to assist borrowers further and strengthen credit union relationships.
5. Represent the credit union at industry events and participate in community engagements.

Requirements
5-10 years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. A 2-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school requiring approximately 64 credit hours.
