We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aid to join our team at The Palmettos of Garden City, a part of the NHC family. As a Dietary Aid, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality of food service.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and service of patient meals, adhering to therapeutic and modified diet requirements.
- Perform various duties associated with food preparation, including cooking, cleaning, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment, adhering to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the cook and other staff members to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to provide excellent customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Food preparation and cooking skills, with knowledge of therapeutic and modified diet information.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
