Position Summary

Support Specialists serve as companions to our clients, providing not just assistance but also friendship. Upon arrival, you may conduct safety checks, assist with meal preparation, or help select daily attire. Your role is to engage in activities, run errands, tidy up, and bring joy to those you support.

In addition to companionship, our Personal Care Specialists take on more hands-on tasks, aiding seniors with bathing, dressing, and oral hygiene. They ensure safety through medication reminders and assist with mobility within the home. While certifications such as CNA, HHA, or PCA are beneficial, they are not mandatory.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking Support Specialists who possess excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to assist seniors.

Applicants should be comfortable providing non-medical companionship and personal care.

Applicants must have reliable transportation.

Applicants should be prepared to travel to clients' residences in designated areas.

As part of our Caregiver Mentor Program, we will develop a tailored training plan for each Support Specialist.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a background check and TB skin test
  • Valid driver's license with a reliable and insured vehicle

If you have experience caring for family members, have been a full-time parent or homemaker, or have worked in environments such as Assisted Living Facilities, Skilled Nursing, or Senior Centers, you could be an excellent fit. Experience in educational settings or volunteer work is also valuable. If you hold certifications like Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
