About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Medical Surgical department at Providence Medford Medical Center. This is a full-time, night shift position (7pm-7:30am, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends.

Job Summary

This role involves delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive medical services. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and clinical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered care, prioritizing individual needs and providing personalized attention
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop effective treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to regulatory standards and quality measures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • Washington Registered Nurse License - if practicing within this state
  • 1 year of experience in a relevant medical setting
