**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Salt Life. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to a positive and engaging store environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all customers

• Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of Salt Life products, including features, benefits, and specifications

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including daily organization, cleanliness, and restocking

• Participate in merchandising activities, including shipping and receiving, recovering the floor, and ensuring all merchandise is placed in its respective area

• Attend and participate in floor sets, ensuring a visually appealing and engaging store display

• Fold, straighten, size, steam, and replenish merchandise to maintain a high level of store appearance

• Protect store assets and inventory through awareness of loss prevention procedures, reporting any suspicions or violations to the Supervisor

**Requirements**

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Minimum 1-2 years retail experience

• Interest in ocean-centric activities

• High School Diploma required

• Ability to work store sales floor for extended periods

• Able to work flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs., carry, push, squat, kneel, twist, turn, reach, and bend

• Must have a positive, outgoing, high-energy personality

• Computer skills, including operation of retail point of sale system
