We are seeking a skilled Civil Construction Laborer to join our team at WRS.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in civil construction and be able to perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • Operating hand tools and power tools to complete tasks
  • Running and operating small equipment
  • Assisting with concrete work, including building forms, smoothing and finishing freshly poured concrete
  • Positioning, joining, aligning, welding and sealing pipe sections
  • Mopping, brushing or spreading paints or compounds over surfaces for protection
  • Spraying materials such as water, sand, steam, tar or paint through a hose to clean, coat or seal surfaces
  • Grinding, sanding or polishing various surfaces
  • Assisting with all aspects of construction, including demolishing buildings, sawing lumber, dismantling forms, concrete work, constructing elements of buildings, asphalt work, lifting and moving objects, etc.

The successful candidate will also have strong problem-solving skills and be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
