A strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures is essential, as well as the ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to medical and/or behavioral health patients
  • Administer vaccines and medications as required
  • Assist physicians with medical procedures and exams
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

  • Current CPR and phlebotomy certifications
  • Valid NM or Texas driver's license and up-to-date automobile insurance
  • Current and unrestricted medical assistant (CMA) certification
